Bradley G Munkowitz aka GMunk is the guy responsible for the visual effects on Tron: Legacy. He was speaking at last May’s FITC Toronto and I caught this conversation between him, a young fan and his dad for my friend Janet after his presentation. I’m sorry, names escape me right now.

I snuck my camera(s) into the West End Cultural Centre for this Jim Bryson and The Weakerthans concert last Saturday. Fucking amazing. I posted up a raw video for now. I’ll edit/correct my mistakes for all of the songs when I have time.

I was back in Ottawa recently and I was staying with a friend had a cat that died about two days after I left. So I made a brief goodbye cat video.

I used some of my Vancouver B-roll video footage for this Tourism Vancouver video contest that ultimately got rejected for my use of a commercial song (“Extraball” by Yuksek featuring Amanda Blank). Whatever, it’s here. There’s a shot you might recognize in there too.
Why yes, it is another “woe is me,” lonely in the city video but shirtless (…and pantless too). I know, I’ve cornered the market with ‘em. I shot this in my hotel room while at FITC Toronto 2009 with a few street shots and aerial shots from the CN Tower. I even threw in a shot of a Tamil demonstration in front of the US embassy. Given all the day long Adobe seminars...
I snuck my Sony CX7 into this Manitoba Film & Music event. I have at least two more videos to share from it…
Me sucking up to WestJet with outtakes from String of Blinking Lights.
I never thought I’d see the day The Roots actually came to town. But don’t tell anyone I snuck in a Kodak Playsport Zx3.
I do admit that it’s been awhile since I’ve actually written on my tumblr. I had been asked to write about some of the projects I’ve worked on lately so I might as well get to it.
The idea for this Paper Moon video came about as I was leaving for Vancouver. I happened to be on Myspace and noticed Paper Moon was performing a lunch hour gig at Union Station, which for you out of...

I shot and edited this in two hours on Christmas Eve last year. And it shows.
I’ll do a redux for next year.

This was basically test footage for that HD tour diary that never happened. According to the staff, I had to remain in the back by the soundboard so I couldn’t wander around the venue getting the shots I wanted. Even when I was stuck there, I still got questioned by so many people. My clichéd response: “I’m with the band.”
This show itself was quite subpar. Colin James...
We’ll lighten up the mood today. What we have here is Frankmusik, a UK artist on the verge of breaking it huge, and his infectious song “Three Little Words.” I heard it first through a Facebook friend and liked it immediately. His official video has a happy tone with its vivid pastel colours and pretty, pretty dancing girls. It is obviously references the famous piano scene from the classic Tom...
As you notice on some of my tweets on Twitter, it should come as no surprise that I’m not happy with the way my life is turning out. If you think I hate being screwed over by band politics, I hate working as an insurance broker even more. I’ve been doing it for almost seven years and I loathe every single minute of it. I ended up in it after I finished a B.A. I didn’t want to do...
